Christmas 2012

Happy New Year to one and all. I hope you all had a wonderful christmas, I know I did. Christmas day was spent with my son and his family at his home (first time I haven't cooked Christmas lunch), we had a fantastic day. It was my grandson Leighton's first christmas so that made it extra special.

Me and my beautiful family
Back row - Simon, Rob (Hubby) with Finley, Mike with Leighton, Christopher with Rory
Front row - Keeleigh with Lexi-Mae, me, Maria and Kate

He must have been on Santa's good list as he had lots of lovely new toys to play with

Boxing Day

On Boxing day my three sons arrived with their families - all my family together, just how I like it.
My eldest son Chris holding the latest addition to our family Lexi-Mae
she is only 3 weeks old in this photo so although it is her first christmas she is oblivious of the fact.

All three of my grandsons Finley (in the army suit) Leighton and
in the front Finley's brother Rory and Lexi-Mae in her swing.

beautiful baby Lexi-Mae

I think it has all been a little to much for our Lexi-Mae..........ahhhhhhhhh

sign of things to come?

Well what can I say! It's been a very hectic first week of December, my hubby and I had to go to Plymouth to take care of our two grandsons while my son Chris and daughter-in-law Kate went to the Christmas Ball (RN) and while we were there my youngest son Simon's partner Keeleigh went into labour 200 miles away back home (just typical).

There was no time to get Keeleigh to hospital so my wonderful and very brave son delivered his own daughter. Lexi-Mae was born at approximately 21.10 on 1st December 2012 weighing in at a very healthy 6Ib 3oz.

My wonderful son Simon and his beautiful new daughter

Although  Lexi-Mae was three weeks early she and her mummy Keeleigh are both doing well and  Simon has now gotten over the shock of bringing this very special little girl into the world.

My hubby and I travelled back home the very next day to meet our beautiful granddaughter for the first time and I have to say it was well worth the wait, she is just perfect.

Hello Daddy!

So as you can see the first week of December has been a complete whirl wind so I wonder what the next three are going to bring, lets see shall we. Hugs Debs xx

Waterless Snow Globe

Hi everyone, I have just finished my Snow Globe that I have made my swap partner Tina. The swap was held on UK & Ireland craft Swaps over on Facebook. I hope you like it Tina, the photos don't really do it justice. Debs xx

Trying to show the inside with the trees and deer.
I think I may have over done the glitter though

All I have to do now is try and send it through the post as safely as possible........oh my.
